Recognize Anything ?

This is all an aftermath of the incident referenced in my post from January 3rd, the sixth paragraph concerning the perils of sobriety.
the only word that comes to mind is laceration. did you get some glass stuck in your palm?
ReplyDeleteRight on target (or in the hand). And what need be done, now that the whole thing has otherwise healed so nicely?
ReplyDeleteThe same thing that had to be done when I had a splinter that got confused and tried to merge with bone rather than e-merging from my finger -- you get to have a doc slice your hand open, remove the glass and then stitch it up. How lovely! (You won't feel a thing while they're cutting, and it will seem really wierd to have blood oozing and feel no pain. But afterwards, it will hurt like pounding hell!)
ReplyDeleteComforting, very comforting... And that from the same sister who once slammed my thumb in the car door when we were kids. (Scar from that still visible).
